Survey Summary
- describe the purpose of your survey
- describe the survey results (the number of respondents, the types of questions, etc) followed by an analysis of the results (your interpretation of the data)
- explain whether or not the survey met your goals and why or why not. Elaborate on what you learned from the data and from creating a survey and what you would do differently in a future survey.

We made up a survey on dental hygiene to know more about the good or bad habits people have with their teeth. 17 people answered our survey. The questions in the survey were designed to know how much people care about their teeth, if they ever had dental work and how important it is for them to go to the dentist. It surprised us to see that 50% of the people who answered floss their teeth once a day. It's way more then we expected. In general, around 50% of them are careful with their teeth, are satisfied with them and had dental work done. However the majority thinks dental services are too expensive. We are satisfied with our survey even though a minority answered anything. If we have to do anything different in the future, we would choose better answering options.

Analysis #2
We will try to interpretate the results the best we can of a survey related to dental care. The purpose of the survey was to find what are the habits concerning the dental hygiene of the Collège Édouard Montpetit students.
So far, 17 students responded to the survey. We have analysed the data and we found out very interesting things about the habits. In general, most of the students (56.3%) floss their teeth one time a day or more which represent a very good indicator about the flossing habits of the students. More than 3/4 of students think that their teeth are healty despite the fact that 40 % have one or more tooth cavities and 46.7% suffer from teeth sensitivity even dough around 90% of the college respondents claim to brush their teeth at least 2 times a day. It is interesting to notice that between 55 % and 60% of the students cares about having healthy good looking teeth. We also found that 11,8% of the respondent claims to never go to the dentist, which is not so dramatic but stunished ourselves.
Even dough we didn't create the survey, we can see that the questions answered the goal that was mentionned at the beginning. In the future, I think we should work with a survey that we have made ourselves and includes less long answer questions because those data are more complicated to interpret.

summary of the data
This survey was made to know how busy the students in techniques and pre-university programs are. It was also designed to know how they divide their time between their activities, studies and social life.
Our survey was completed by 22 respondents; most of them were in a technique. We were surprised that the majority (27.3%) of them don’t have any job because of a lack of time. Half of the respondents spend 1-5 hours in their homework per week. The majority (68.2%) sleeps normally the recommended hours per night, which are 7 to 8 hours. 3/5 of our respondents takes coffee on a regular basis and 2/5 of them don’t take anything special beside water. In general, people spend between 30 and 60 minutes in a car or in public transportation per day. On their free times, we should say that people do a lot of different activity. In order of importance, they meet friends, watch TV, do sports and listen to music. And finally, 40% of the respondents spend 6-10 hours on the computer per week.
In general, we can say that our survey met pretty well our expectations. But we are aware that 22 respondents aren’t enough to represent efficiently the student society. Anyhow, we learned from the data that students in general don’t spend a lot of time for their homework and that they surprisingly don’t have a job because of a lack of time. Next time we will do a survey, we will let it longer online to make sure that more people fill it. That way, the answers will probably better represent the students in general.

First of all we wanted to know the student’s opinion about different points concerning cinema. We asked them question about the movie itself, but also about movie theatre, video store and food. The results show us that people generally prefer actions movies or comedies. Most of the time, people go to see movies that catch them with the trailers or had a good critic. People don`t like to see mobvies twice in general. The american movies are the most popular by far. Except some rare specimens most of the students told us they like to go the movie theatre with friends. We were surprised to learn that people only go once or twice per month to the cinema. In conclusion, we learned that people go to the movie theatre to get entertained and have a good time with friends more then to analyse the movie itself. We also saw that students spend a lot of money on food and beverage.

A week before Election Day in the United-States, people have been wondering what will be the outcome of all this. What does this mean for the economy, for the environment and for the war in Iraq? With Barack Obama having the lead in this race, one can clearly say that we are in for a big change. Even for Canada, this will have big repercussions that will shake the entire world. In our survey, we asked people weather if it's Obama or McCain that wins the election, will it have an impact in our lives and to some up what was siad, it will. Big changes will be made and examples will be made off of this situation for years to come. Taken from the survey that Francis and I made, we can easily come to a conclusion that Barack Obama will win the race to become the next American President of the United-States.
