Beijing's Olympic ceremonies have been manipulated to impress the entire world, but also to impress Chinese people. Some people are shocked about it because it does not fit with the Olympics' values but some think it is not that important, because our society is as fake as China. Yes, we are used to be exposed to fake shows or sports performances, but the difference is that here, we have the right to express when we think something is not right.
We may think that we are not affected by phoniness, however we agree that we are manipulated by marketing tricks such as lower prices but even lower quantity, even if we think we try to notice it, but we think we would never be interested into buying a product only for the design, like water bottles “Evian Les Petits”
